Volví de tres años en Australia con el corazón lleno de preguntas.

Sentía que algo dentro de mí necesitaba volver a su raíz.

Entonces nació Solear.

Fue la primera obra que pinté al regresar.

Un impulso de fuego, una manera de decirme:

“El flamenco está en mi piel, lo porto, lo soy.”

Pintar Solear fue agarrarme a mi tierra, a mi historia, a lo que creía perdido.

Es un canto al alma flamenca, al poder de las mujeres que se sostienen en su fuerza y en su verdad.

Un diálogo entre la tradición y lo contemporáneo, entre lo que fuimos y lo que somos ahora.

Si al ver esta obra sientes que algo se enciende dentro,

quizás también esté recordándote tu propia raíz, tu fuego, tu lugar en el mundo.

🇬🇧 I came back from three years in Australia with my heart full of questions.

I felt that something within me needed to return to its roots.

That’s when Solear was born.

It was the first piece I painted after coming back — a burst of fire, a way of telling myself:

“Flamenco is in my skin, I carry it, I am it.”

Painting Solear was my way of holding on to my land, my story, to what I thought I had lost.

It’s a song to the flamenco soul — to the power of women who stand in their strength and truth.

A dialogue between tradition and the contemporary, between who we were and who we are now.

If, when you look at this piece, something lights up inside you,

perhaps it’s also reminding you of your own roots — your fire, your place in the world.
